James A.M. Smith, DO is board certified by the American Board of Vascular Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Smith trained at the Cleveland Clinic, the University of Pittsburgh (UPMC), and the University of Zurich. He has performed more than 10,000 vascular procedures. He specializes in circulation problems outside the heart, particularly in the lower extremities. Dr. Smith is passionate about saving legs, healing wounds, and preventing strokes and heart attacks in his patients.

Kansas Vascular Medicine accepts all insurance plans, Medicare and Medicaid. Dr. Smith’s office also accepts patients from the Veteran’s Administration (V.A.).
